Polishing involves removing a thin layer of metal to treat signs of wear on a piece of jewelry. It does not remove deep scratches or dents. An expert Aristocrazy polisher performs this service, which includes diagnosis, polishing, and cleaning. To enhance the shine of white gold, pieces are sometimes coated with a thin layer of rhodium.

We work with gold, rose gold, rhodium, and two-tone plating. This service includes several stages.

1. A gentle polishing is performed to try to remove signs of use.
2. They are subjected to ultrasonic cleaning to remove impurities.
3. The piece is bathed (with a thickness of 3 microns of 18 kt gold for the gold and rose gold finish and 0.10 microns of rhodium for the white finish).
4. Drying is carried out so that the result is satisfactory.

We recommend performing this service when the jewelry has lost its color intensity. This service does not affect the structure of the jewelry.

It is only permitted to bathe in the original color of the jewel.

We subject our jewelry to ultrasonic cleaning to remove impurities. Ultrasonic baths are widely used to clean jewelry and precious metals. Among their advantages is the fact that they can easily remove tiny dirt particles that are almost impossible to remove otherwise, even without disassembling the pieces, saving a great deal of time and working in a precise and safe manner.

This service allows you to increase or decrease the size of an 18kt ring up to a maximum of four sizes without affecting its appearance or design. An expert Aristocrazy jeweler performs this personalized service, which includes diagnosis, resizing, polishing, cleaning, and rhodium plating, if necessary. The first resizing is free. If this is not technically possible because it affects the stone setting, a resizing quote will be provided, provided the jewelry is from a current season.

If your jewelry setting isn't suitable, we recommend you come to our stores for an assessment. It may be necessary to re-set the stone or create new prongs to secure your stone to the jewelry.

We work with different types of jewelry clasps for earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. It's very important to ensure the clasp is working properly before wearing jewelry to avoid losing it, as it's never covered by the warranty. Clasps that may require this service include:

• Earring backs (9 and 18 kt silver and gold)

We perform silver and 9 and 18 kt gold soldering in the following cases:

• Chain welding
• Stud welding
• Spot welding on motifs
• Shaping (rings)
• Soldering gold rings (not valid for silver)
• Welding of claws in crimps

It is advisable to perform a bath service after these services for an optimal final result.

The water resistance of the watch is not permanently guaranteed by Aristocrazy. The seals that guarantee it may be physically damaged by use of the crown, push-pieces, impacts, or other factors.
